This rare Bassett Furniture dresser from the iconic “Monterey” line, designed by Leo Jiranek, was produced for only 10 months between 1962 and 1963. Crafted with a walnut veneer over solid wood, it features three spacious lower drawers and two upper drawers adorned with sculpted rosewood “X” inlays that double as drawer pulls. The dresser’s sculptured legs and aprons, paired with its warm Carmel Walnut finish, reflect a seamless blend of Scandinavian-inspired design and American contemporary style.
