Handmade Clay Botanical Ornament Made with Real Pressed Plants, Red Alder

Description : Bring a touch of nature into your home with this handmade botanical clay ornament. This red alder ornament is part of my native Pacific Northwest plant ornament collection! I love creating these clay ornaments, because they allow me to blend my background in environmental science and love of native Pacific Northwest plants with my passion for art. I hope it brings you as much joy as it does for me making them! Created with a strong, durable clay, painted with bronze fluid acrylic paint, and strung with natural twine. This ornament was created pressing a red alder leaf, cone, and catkins in Seattle. All my plants are either pressed out in nature without harvesting the plant (see the attached video for an example of my process), or they're pressed using plants that have already fallen. DISCLAIMER: *Please be aware that natural impurities may occur in my clay ornaments. Due to the nature of where I press these ornaments, please expect some dirt specks and other small imperfections, because, well, nature IS imperfect! :) Measurement: approx. 3 inches in diameter
