Antique Hand Carved Wooden Textile Stamp Mold Converted to Key Hook Rack.

This unique piece began its life as a traditional wooden textile stamp mold, likely used for block printing fabric. Hand-carved from solid wood, it features a repeating motif of barrel or urn-shaped impressions. The surface  displays rich patina and wear consistent with age and use, adding to its character and authenticity.

At some point, the piece was thoughtfully repurposed with the addition of six brass toned hooks, making it functional as a wall-mounted key holder or jewelry rack. Two drilled holes at each end suggest it was originally mounted for repetitive printing and now serve as convenient mounting points for wall display. A charming fusion of utilitarian history and rustic decor, this object blends folk craftsmanship with modern repurposing.
