The frame is constructed with precise mitered corners and detailed with a continuous beaded molding along the inner edge, adding textural interest and depth. Four raised medallion-style wood appliqués accent each corner, complemented by turned spindle like carvings centered along the top and bottom rails.

The oak has a rich, warm finish with visible ray flecks, a hallmark of quarter-sawn lumber, enhancing the grain's natural figure.
