Description : Crater Lake National Park, Oregon I didn’t expect to come away with any good images during a quick trip to Oregon’s Crater Lake National Park. I was only there for a few hours during the cloudless midday light and the boat ride to the island in the middle of the caldera was already closed for the season. A telephoto lens saved the day though, and this image of the island’s cinder cone aligning perfectly with the crater rim reflected in the calm waters quickly became one of my favorites from the Cascade Range. Fine art prints are individually produced in my studio on a Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 printer with archival inks on top-of-the-line Canson Infinity Rag Photographique paper.
